Did you bump the computer in anyway? Have you tried re-seating the CPU block? Is pump/fans working?

Check the pump mount. Is the CPU pump operating? Also are the fans on the rad operating?

Then I would try and re-seating the CPU block again and see if anything changes.

Speaking of which, how do you know clean out the fins on the radiator?

depends. how much garbage is on the array or embedded in the fins. if you have

fuzzies and pubes i use a sticky lint roller or some sticky tape. if impacted pretty

good or have some good trash in the fins, remove radiator and with light air-flow

back-flush the fins with a slow gasp of air. shouldn't take much to eject the debris.

If you have to remove the pump from the CPU, you'll need to re-apply thermal paste.

yes.. and depending on TIM used some need a "break-in" or settling time.

find your most used TIM and stock up on it. i've gone through 10 tubes of NT-H1.

each tube is good for 15 apps..

Hoover on the slowest settings and hover the head a cm above the radiator. Stops dust flying everywhere including your now probably open PC case. Also means you don't even have to remove the rad once you get practise.
