I am having trouble figuring out how to reprogram some of the buttons on my mouse so that they can be set to a function in the game instead of having to assign them to a button on the keyboard through macros the two buttons I'm having trouble with our the DPI shift up and down buttons

welcome to the forum :)

From past experience with mice with various buttons, its normally always down to the game that the issue! i have 2 scroll wheels on my mouse, and some games allow me to assign it and other don't.. using the software to macro program it is normally always the only solution.. even then its not perfect!! bf4 won't let me use my second scroll wheel no matter what i do!!

Functions in games also use button keybinds so you'll have to do keybinds on the mouse.  Not sure if DPI shift can be changed though.

dude i`m not that dumb

So what problems are you having then? Can't program certain mouse buttons to do a specific task in the game? The only options are in the list and just drag and drop the commands to the mouse button you want.

i`m trying to make it to where the DPI buttons act like the keyboard buttons do just without macros

What key are you trying to assign to the dpi buttons?

From the Logitech Gaming Software, just select the game you want, then click on the plus sign and from there you can create customized keystrokes, where it can be added to the mouse dpi buttons.
