Yes. It can. A stock cooler that didn't fit on a socket that it comes with would be weird.

Hello guys,having this on my head right now while waiting for he parts for someone else and I'm scared the AMD Athlon X4 860K wont fit on this  ASROCK FM2A88M-HD+ because on the AsRock site theres that thing that says " ◊ For cooling the CPU and its surrounding components, please install a CPU cooler with a top-down blowing design. ",and the 860K is marked with ◊

All I want to know is if the stock cooler can fit on that motherboard.
