Pc wont boot into bios

So iv just finished building myself a new media pc. Specs are

 

A10 7870k

Asus a88xm-plus

8gb hyper x savage 2400mhz

500watt evga bronze 

1tb wd blue 

Fractal Design 1100 

 

The probelm is when i boot the pc up it works fine until i press f2 to get into the bios. Then i just get a black screen. Its entirely new components and i haven't been able to get past this issue yet

ok so trying to get into bios kills it? you dont need to get into the BIOS to install an OS usually, only if the boot priority is weird

 

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...
