i tryed to overclock my q6600 for 2 days but i cant manualy overclock my cpu the option to change cpu speed stays stuck on auto

the only way i can overclock is via the n.o.s overclocking setup with a overclock setting of 20% overclock results > 2.88ghz at 1.228V stable, temps : under 50 degrees Celsius at full load

 

system specs :

intel core 2 quad q6600 b3

asus p5k premium wifi-ap black pearl edition

4gb of ram hyperx blu 1066mhz (2 kits of 2 dims)

palit gtx 460 green edition 786mb

cooler master silent pro 620w 80+

Dude this is just really old type of question it will be really hard for someone to remember and be able to help you
