Hi, i have got my 4690k stable at 4,5 GHz on 1.21 volts. Im wondering if this overclock will decrease the chips lifespan noticeable. Is it Worth it?, to sacrifice some lifespan for better speed? Or should i just keep it stock until i really need it alot? I am very confused about this.

OK, I'm not big into overclocking but I believe if you still have it set to only use the speed when you need it to then you should be OK and is also dependant a lot on the cooler you're using I should think. Try whatever it is you do on the PC both with and without the OC to see what real world difference it really makes to you specifically. But I would say that if you are sensible with the OC and not pushing the temps too high to allow a little wiggle room for the time of year etc then you should be OK and won't noticeably decrease the chip's lifespan... I have mine set at 4.4Ghz with a 4670 on air and my everyday useage doesn't notice any difference, so I pretty much only have it ramped up when encoding video or similar high use CPU stuff, as I don't have a good GPU as I don't bother gaming on the PC yet.
