Are warranties valid out of the region?

If i buy a motherboard in North America and use it in Asia, can i claim warranty in Asia when I have a problem?

Depends, if the manufacturer has international warranty support then yeah. If not , you'll probably have to come back to NA to reclaim it. If the product has a service / repair shop / (i don't know what it's called :D) in the selected country than you'll probably manage to. not 100% sure thou, ask the shop where you are preparing to buy from if no one can help you in this forum (which i doubt it) :)
