I am using an acer laptop with i3-5005U and GeForce 920M.

I noticed that Nvidia got an update so I tried updating it but it always fails so I did a manual update.

I downloaded the latest on GeForce website by entering 920M and got the result. Downloaded the latest.

As I try to install I experienced an error. I tried both custom and express install.

Now I dont have drivers for my Nvidia because it always fails. Please help me.

This is the screenshot of the error im getting on both custom and express install.

use ddu to remove the drivers

then clean install the drivers

and make sure you restart  between each time you install or uninstall some piece of software, a lot of people think they can just do everything without restarting at all

Thanks! It worked. It seems that the "Clean Install" option on the Nvidia installer is useless. They should remove that crap.

Again thanks a lot.

clean install just reinstall the drivers and resets settings

it does not remove the old drivers

thats why you needed to use DDU

Not useless, but sometimes it just isn't enough. Glad I could help :)

That was a joke, insinuating that I do not restart between installations and uninstallations. Hence the ^-^
