So using my iPod touch generation 6 I'm finding weird audio issues I've never encountered and need your help. I'm using the original apple headphones and when the iPod is in my pocket  with headphones plugged into it it will get quieter and or echoy. Then when I go to reach for my iPod to see what the heck is going on it stops when i bump the audio connector. Then it will do it again at random and on any audio track (even if I have a movie playing on it when its in my pocket).  When I try to recreate the problem by bending my headphone connector i can't. I have never had something like this happen with any audio player. The closest thing I've experienced is when a cable is breaking and it just loses connection because of a short. Do you think its the cable or the iPod's headphone jack? Please any advice would help because this bugs me so much.

What kind of pants were you wearing? Shorts? Jeans?

Multiple different pairs of jeans.

I'd try shorts if you have any that fit you. Jeans can be pretty tight for mobile devices.

The pockets are pretty good size and besides I live in Idaho and its like 20 degrees (F) in the morning so wearing shorts would be cold.
