Skylake Motherboard

I am in search of a sky lake motherboard. I am on a tight budget, and I don't need features from higher end boards.

My main focus is that I want it to be reliable, will last me a while, and has essential features. Thanks for your help!

Do you plan to overclock? If so you will need to pick up a z170 board and the 6600K or 6700K processor as intel has shut down the ability to overclock non-unlocked chips.

Also, what do you consider to be essential features?

I am NOT overclocking, I need my stability high and costs low.

Essentials for me are a substantial amount of USB 3.0 ports, 4 RAM slots, and the basics that everyone has nailed, like solid state capacitors, and humidity resistant PCB Layers.

Thats DDR3, so i wouldnt.

Take a DDR4 board:

- Gigabyte GA-B150-HD3P

- Gigabyte GA-B150M-DS3P

DDR3 makes no sense with skylake, and could damage your CPU internal Memory controler (check Linus' Video about that)
