Vessel Ads

Hi guys,
So I usually watch Linus' videos on my Lunch break at work. However, due to be working for an old fashioned company streaming sites are blocked so I watch them on my phone.
So although Vessel is only a small amount of money I have an Ad before every video. And when scrolling down my follows feed they have adverts also that are all unskipable.
I know this isn't a LMG issue but for a paid service that in my opinion force ads down my throat more than YouTube is unacceptable.

I have never encountered an Ad however on the Desktop Version.

 

What are your guys views on this and do you also experience this?

There are ads on the PC version too, they're just really short. And I don't think Vessel is for paying subscribers only anymore.

They're under 5 seconds for me, which is the time youtube takes to say 'skip this ad' so deal with it

I know, I'd rather watch on YouTube and see Linus' own ads knowing the team get all the Revenue. I am still a little dubious at how much of my Money I'm pay to Vessel the guys at LMG get.

Yeah they have made a conscious choice to show ads to paying customers too. They even address it in their FAQ. What you pay for is just getting early access to videos.

I don't mind the LTT ads because I normally let them run through and just change tab. But when I'm watching on my phone they're just annoying. And when I watch Youtube Ads I know a percentage is going to the content Creator. Does any go to LMG form Vessel?

Think of the paid version remaining as before, with free vessel being like youtube now.

Aren't the ads like 3-5 seconds? How can that annoy someone? I hate ads and use adblocker for everything but the vessel ads on my phone are nothing.

They wouldn't annoy me if it wasn't a paid service.

If you signed up with linus around the start of when he started uploading to vessel you got a free year subscription i still have my free one i think its only a few more months left though

@Derpologist With Linus's Code my account says it expires in March and thats around the Time Vessel launched publicly from quickly googling it. so the year is not up yet but will be soon i just clicked account-settings and it listed that in my vessel account btw.
