hey, when windows 10 came out i upgraded my win 8.1 to it. after a short amount of time i noticed that windows 10 started fooling around with my ram. it was maxing out all my ram for no reason, forcing me to restart my pc to get to normal ram usage levels again. thinking it was a mistake when upgrading or potentially a virus i clean installed windows 10 and the problem was gone. but recently there was some huge windows 10 update (was not the same routine it normally is but a lot bigger) since i updated the problem has been back. the ram just fills up more and more over the course of some time and eventually maxes out. at that point my pc gets laggy and slow and i have to restart again.

has anyone encountered the same problem or even has a solution for it? it is really annoying and i dont want to ahve to reinstall an older windows for it to fix it.

im using windows 10 64bit. the rest of my specs should be in my signiture.

sounds like a memory leak. Disable all auto start programs and do a clean start. See if the problem is still there. If not then its one of those programs, just start them one at a time until you identify the culprit, AMD Rapt caused this issue for me on my old 280x

1) first and most common method : take out the ram clean it's golden leaf like outlet and insert it correctly, open the bios and see weather total memory is correct or not. If correct open win if not than again take out and insert it correctly and carefully.

2) Probably a bug in win 10, when you upgrade your windows ( not clean installation) it may have occur.

3) May be a problem in ram.
