The problem is that my Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q8100x keeps crashing when I use an application with sumtin Graphical. So I basically just turn down the graphics to keep playing. Few months after that, this solution doesn't work so I resorted to underclocking the gpu and it worked. BUT TODAY it just crashed.. Worse is that I can't even boot it up. It boots up and the windows logo pops up and loads. This would be the moment the login screen pops up and then it's dead. Before that, the crash is so weird. The laptop's screen turns off the led indicators show that the computer is off and I can here the fans still running. Also when I press the power button A can hear the fans rev up and the led indicator shows it's on and a few secs later it turns back off. I have to disconnect the charger and battery for it to turn on like normal again..

Also, only in some situations the laptop crashes (before today) ..like when I try recording with OBS it crashes.. When I play AC3 it crashes after a while.. but it doesn't crash when I play Minecraft even when I overclock the GPU... Also I use the BlueStacks and play Asphalt 8 the heatsinks were HOT but it didn't crash.. So it can't possibly be an overheating problem.. Also many other games like BLR, AC4, CS:GO it crashes.. but for some reason the longer time passes the more often it crashes.. Oh yeah, I have cleared the heatsinks and replaced the thermal paste few months ago and it still crashes..

Sorry for the mess lel Please ask more questions If you don't understand ^_^

Specs:

Intel i5 sumtin (sorry)

4 gigs of ram

Geforce GTX460M

450 GB hard drive

wut else it's a laptop lol

UPDATE:

It also crashes when I boot into Safe Mode

If you have the cpu or gpu overclocked try reseting them to default then try playing

I have an Anet A8 as my project printer and a i3 MK3 for when I want things to work.

I extrude my own filament and haven't saved a penny yet.

Run OCCT in error check mode for a while (half hour maybe) and report to me what you get back.

Also, when crashing, does it bluescreen? there might be crash dumps I can take a look at.

The crash is like a normal shutdown when I turn it on it just works like normal. Also i edited the post about the crash.
