Depends on your use. i7 is great for editing/rendering. The i5 is great for solely gaming.

I know for sure that Titan X isn't worth it. Go for the 980Ti instead.

EDIT: Fuck everything I said, go for it.

Is this worth it for £1000 UK ?

CPU:  i7 4790K

GPU:  GTX Titan X

RAM: 16GB RAM

HDD: 2TB

SSD: 240GB

24inch Monitor

if I have not listed the brand, I do not know the brands.

Perfect except for the GTX Titan X : A 980 Ti with after-market cooler can perform much better than the only-reference GTX Titan X, and it is also much cheaper than the GTX Titan X.

Nothing to see here ;)

Is it prebuilt so was wondering

On second thoughts, how the hell is a Titan X build only 1000 pounds? I'd jump on straight away. That's bloody cheap.

Someone from my uni is selling it.

Does it work? Because 1000 pounds is a great deal for that build.

Get him to show you benchmarks in person if possible.

I like how you two suggest a 980Ti in a build where a Titan X is involved, and it is £1000. You do realize a Titan X alone is £900, right?

The Titan X? For how much? Compare it to the market price of Titan X.

The UK going price of the Titan X alone is £800-1000.

This couldn't be any more of a bargain.

This is a second hand I assume?

No way it's brand new, if it is, seller is taking a loss.

If you do buy it, check the rest of the specs, the motherboard and the PSU.

Also, if you don't plan on putting that titan X under water and it's a reference (most likely), see if you can find someone to trade that Titan X for a non-reference 980 Ti.

Went and checked the specs out, Turned out to have the same processor they listed but the GPU was a GTX 960 :/

Dodged a bullet there. Knowing that you could easily get a better build for that price.

Does that 1000 pound budget include the monitor by any chance?
