XCOM 2 Multiplayer lag?

Has anybody had any problems with xcom 2 multiplayer? Me and my buddy like to play multiplayer just to mess around and on the other players turn its always laggy and takes quite awhile to actually show whats happening, then at the end of the turn it takes forever to switch to the next turn, and it cuts into the move timer. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Dude the whole internet is lagging unless you are on fiber, it isn't the game really. Yes it suck and the only thing that seems to help is fixing your bufferbloat and using Google's DNS servers 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4
