Ok, so I have this "extension cable" included with my Hue+ and when I plug it in to each end of the appropiate LED (since the LED strip doesn't reach to the next) and turn it on. Then the one it connects to doesn't turn on? So what is this supposed to do if it doesn't just connect two LED strips?

That is just an extension cable, and should power both lights together. I do notice a white arrow on the end though try plugging one side in and then reversing the other it could be possible they mis-labeled the first pin in the cable.

One is connecting out and the other in. I'm pretty sure I plugged it in correctly, it just isn't "powering" it if you know what I mean

do you have a multimeter you may be able to test for broken connections

The only thing is is that none of the extension cables included work

The first strip I assume works but the second when going through the cable doesn't but without the cable is not a problem again.

Do the LED's work if you directly connect them to the controller, it sounds like an issue with a controller if nothing is working.

When I plug the LEDs in w/o any extension cable they work, but not otherwise

Try re-configuring the extensions to the LED's to see if they turn on the, 4 pin system used for LED strips are not keyed in anyway so the lights only power properly on if the connector is oriented correctly.

Ok, I'll try that. Thanks!
