Sorry if this is the wrong topic, I'm sure there's many that it could fit into. My laptop is running out of space and I was wondering why because I don't have much on it so I went into programs to see if i could uninstall anything I don't need and I found a massive "HP support solutions framework" program that I don't think I need. (Picture of it http://prntscr.com/a0e6gj ) What do I do? Can I uninstall it? And what's weird is that it IS an HP laptop, but I clean-installed windows on it and there's this weird thing. Thanks.

That can't be right. Try running malwarebytes.

Could have been an error, such as how security backup in prior versions went crazy and made continuous sets of redundant files that started to build up over time.

Just remove it.

Still new, but learning

WTF O_O

Maybe it is some sort of backup program or something? I have no idea...

I use Bvckup for backups...

If you use windows firewall or another firewall OR you don't need one AND you're doing another backup, ideally compressed or just system restore, then I say go for deletion. You might try looking into just deleting the garbage and back up portion.

Use a tool like windirstat to verify and understand where your used space really is. The Add/Remove programs (old name) and Programs and Features (new name) has never been known for showing accurate sizes. I've seen programs that only use a few MB showing multiple GB, and vice versa. The sizes reported are set by the programmer, and it rarely seems to be right for me, over dozens of systems and a decade and a half looking at it.

Looking to buy GTX690, other multi-GPU cards, or single-slot graphics cards:
