Save your money for another $200 OP.

$550 can turn into something "good".

$350 probably won't even break "decent"

Get a console or go used m8. New is not an option.

Buy used.

 

I'd say for $350 you can get a system with an i3 and an R9 280. Maybe, if you're good at finding deals. If not then a G3258/860K and a 750 Ti/260X system shouldn't be too hard to come by.

What have they got against used parts?? 

For $350 you will not even get an i5 +decent mobo + decent case so go used or turn to the console side

$350 is not enough for a gaming PC Save up.

If you must use new parts then i would suggest waiting a few months until amd's AM4 platform and a couple of its apu's come out as they will probably be better bang for buck than whats out there currently
