ON my watch from russia, it says "3иM"

What does this mean?
Is this water resistance?

If it's meant as a word, then it should mean winter. If it's a short term, then no idea.

Looks like it's just a brand name. Even if it had a water resistant certification, I wouldn't trust it. Only thing they can make somewhat right is related with army or some production machinery.

It's from the 70's, mechanical, you have to wind it, so it seems like a little water won't hurt it.
