Getting Back to the PC Master Race

Been outta the PC gaming world for about 8 years now and I'm looking to put a basic rig together for 1080 or maybe 1440 with a future for 4k. Got a list of parts here. Just need some feedback as to whats going to work and what isn't. All this came in at around 700.00. Not really looking to spend much more than that. Maybe 800.00

You're better off with the R9 380's better performance over the GTX 960.

Try to aim for a quad core i5 4460 rather than the FX 6300.

i see people already said what i was gone say, but here it is again. cheap I5 something like a 4460 and something from the R9 lineup so a 380 or something like that

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

#1. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

#2. It's best to keep your mouth shut; and appear to be stupid, rather than open it and remove all doubt.

#3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place.
