Why 98?

 

Grab 2000, get the unofficial SP5 and the NT Kernal Extender and watch your Win2K machine turn into an XP machine.

Server:-

Intel NUC running Server 2019 + Synology DSM218+ with 2 x 4TB Toshiba NAS Ready HDDs (RAID0)

I'd love to do that but... I need some of the features XP has :( 

 

Install the XP kernel patch for Windows 98, and then see what fun stuff you can torture the OS into doing EvilSmile.gif.pagespeed.ce.UjKg82nnzE.gi

 

EDIT: Maybe find a Vista kernel for XP at that point, install that, and then so on and so forth until you have either broken the OS or cannot find any newer kernels.
