Avast Blocking Steam Update

I was going to play some CSGO, but it wouldn't open. So, i proceeded to verify the game and it found 3 files were unable to verify and it gave me a download named corrupt update files. I then proceeded to download that and avast, my antivirus software, blocked me from doing so. I told Avast that it was a false positive for a virus, and returned to downloading it, but it blocked me again. What should i do? I've restarted Steam and my pc, all i want to do is play csgo.

Disable Avast temporarily

Uninstall Avast and use Windows Defender and Malware Bytes. That's the best anti-virus combo you can have.

i just had this problem like 5 mins ago i just went to avast made an exeption to the csgo folder in the steamapps folder quickly uninstalled csgo reinstalled then vertified game cache now it works fine
