Metropolis

Just watched this movie.

I thought it was really good, and way ahead of its time for a 1927 silent movie.

Thoughts?

Anyone Else like it?

I really like that movie. It's a very visionary movie that that changed a lot the ways movies were made. 

It pretty much revolutionized the way the camera was used, the effects that could  be used and the way the story could be told.

However, the version that I watched was the uncut version, which means it was almost 5 hours long and the title cards were in a bunch of different languages.

We watched "the lives of others" and "metropolis" in german class, koyannisqatsi in English class

Man, the movies you watch are much more intersting than the movies I watched when I was in school.
