hello , im siting on my third G410 with a squeaky spacebar and it's driving me crazy! previous two developed the symptoms over a course of a week , this one i got today and it's already sqeaking , IM tired of going back and forth to the retailer , can i use olive  oil as a lubricant to lube the stabilizers? It's really difficult to find all those recommended lubes over here in Greece .

I might be that metal bar that's causing the squeeking.

What do you mean? As far as stabilizers go , it's using cherry ones .

Number one, don't sit on your G410, it's not a chair

Number two this has to be a troll post xD a guy who lives in Greece and wants to use Olive Oil as a lube

Number three in case this is real, don't use it, it will gum up and probably damage the components

Number four Do I have to the permission to Invade Djibouti with the aid of Greece :P

I told you, Olive oil will gum up.  Try brake/joint/pipe lube.

Under every keyboard, even the $5 trash bin special, the spacebar has a metal rod under it. It might be that, that's causing the squeeking.

If you rub it between your fingers for a while and thin it out, just rub on.  Also, I'd suggest blowing it since there may be stuff stuck in there.

it's an 9 hour out of the box keyboard , i;ve tried blowing on it several times. also its only the spacebar key on every keyboard that;s faulty.

Try pulling it or moving the stabilizer around, I can't help you any more because I'm out of help.

So you physically remove the space bar key and there is not metal rod under it or on the key itself?

no , just the switch , stabilizers on each end and the PCB underneath

Can you remove this stabilizer.

Did some digging and Google's first result, gives me a link to the Logitech forums, where this dude also has the same problem as you. He even has the same idea that you have, trying to fix the squeaking problem with lube.
