Is there a program or can we program the folders in desktop to expand when we point our mouse?

Because I think that will be cool and it'll be easier to select your apps from the Desktop.

 

Im having so many icons on my desktop but I dont want to open a folder 1st before I open the app.

You can call that laziness but it's just a matter of preference for me. Maybe I can get an idea from my fellow LTT members.

thats what i did with my custom rainmeter skin, hover over and a few program icons show up

i think you can just get an "objectdock" to do what you want

How was rainmeter? Is it just a small program and wont affect much of my PC performance?

really lightweight actually, unless you make stuff update every 10 ms :P
