Asus STRIX GTX 950...

I'm planing to build my pc...And i would like to know that my build is perfect or good or is it bad.

This is my list...

Intel i5 4690k

Corsair 16GB Vegeance Pro

Asus STRIX GTX950

Corsair VS450 Power Supply 

 

Could someone give me some recommendation?Thanks guys ^_^

get 8gb ram and a cheaper cpu like 6400.. and invest in better card

4690k is better i think

What do you want to do with it? Gaming, video editing...

 

And what is your budget?

current system:  i5 2500k @4.5ghz cooled by antec 620 - asrock z77 extreme 4 - 8gb corsair RAM - MSI Twin Frorz 7950 in crossfire - XFX 850w  - Fractal design R4 - samsung 840 120gb ssd - 500gb wd blue hdd - 1440p korean qnix monitor (love it!)

Maybe try getting an i5 and something like an AMD 380x? No idea what that would cost in Malaysia but that 950 isn't that great.

Maybe you could get the i5 4460 and a gtx 960.

But I want i5 4690k.The thing is that the graphic card is for temporally.And I planned to change it to gtx980 something in the future.And i just want to know that the list I listed is slightly okey for use for a few years?

Atleast get 8gb ram. And get the 4690k if you want. But the 950 isn't that great, maybe go for team red?

Maybe I could lower my ram from 16 to 8gb but i would consider to use Asus graphic cards...

Cause I didnt quite know about AMD Graphic cards

Yeah get 8gb ram. But I don't know if you could get a better graphics card if get the 4690k unless you go with AMD. Or you could save a little bit more and get the Asus gtx 960.

I personally don't know the difference. Probably almost no difference.

But what motherboard are you gonna get?

I don't know what's  available in Malaysia but the Asus Z97-P is a good budget motherboard. Also the MSI pc mate.

WOW it's about 80 dollars in the US. And no motherboard does effect gaming really. Often the more expensive = more stuff to do with it.
