Multimedia build help.

Ridska here,

I am planning on building a multimedia rig for the Living room for my family's 4k TV.

I was thinking that it should have some sort of speaker system but here is where i need your help.

I have no idea what parts go into a multimedia machine. This is why I'm making this post , I am aiming to get a good idea or good generalisation of what parts go into a multimedia rig.

budget ? Well like i said , I have no idea what goes into a multimedia rig too ill see about that later.

Simple stuff, get a g3258 for your CPU needs, and get a gt 710 for 4K output, then maybe 4gb of ram but might as well get 8gb since its like 30 bucks these days. if you want to beef it up a little, i would recommend an i3 and maybe a 750

Thats the hardware stuff , But i want to manage my wifi as well and a good sound system. 

Sound card maybe ? out-ternal.

Dumb question , Why people even make multimedia rigs and how do you use one for and what are they used for ?
