Hello I am using an Hp Pavilion 15 laptop right now. It is about one year old. A few days ago my Seagate hard drive started to fail. Today i took apart the whole laptop and replaced the sshd. Anyways i made a windows 10 download disk on another pc. What do i do now? When i turn on the laptop it says no boot device found. How do i get my clean install of windows 10 working?

make a win 10 usb with the media creation tool

then boot to the usb stick by changing the bios boot

go into the bois and check the cd is being recognised as a boot device. if that doesn't work, try downloading the media creation tool from their site, and using it to make a bootable usb.

on hp computers I think its either f10 or f2 to get into the bios

you can try f12 as well to get to the manual boot option

mash the f10 and f2 key when you turn the pc on

make the cd rom the first boot option instead of the boot manager, and put in the windows disk.

Its nt booting from the cd. ALSO. If your machine has not been updated to windows 10 before IT WILL NOT ACTIVATE

Please make sure you have the cd key from the OEM

Or if its bios activated, reinstall the previous version of windows and then upgrade to windows 10
