Forgot windows 10 password

My brother's gf cannot remember her user password in order to log in windows 10. I tried to reset it with hirens dvd password changer but it is for windows 7 and it wrote something like kernel panic and could not proceed.

I don't have any w10 iso and the laptop came with w7. Can I use a w7 or 8.1 usb in order to use utilman command?

Is there any other way?

it should be her hotmail account password. Just have her reset her hotmail password.

I cant try it because I dont have any w10 installation media. Anything else?

if you get her computer it shows you a way to program it to force it to make a brand new account then you can make a new password for the old one

Tried but it stopped at a line that said kernel panic. Thought that the password changer is not for windows 10.

Did it with hirens in mini xp mode!
