Should I exchange it to a reference card ? What is the quietest solution?

If you do so , keep the stock cooler just in case.

But that doesn't mean that you cant use the cooler.

Unless you have asus's Direct GPU system then its a no go.

I did m8. Look , There are some people who dont have reference GPU and yet they install a after market cooler.
