Hey pals, I really need help with my memory issue and since I had nowhere to go I thought id create an account here and pray I find help to my problem. Its been a whole month that ive been trying to resolve a problem where 4.5 of my 8 Gb of RAM is hardware reserved. I've looked up countless youtube videos on how to fix it and nothing has worked so far. I tried running space engineers only once but with only 1gb free of my 3.5GB that wasn't hardware reserved it couldn't load anything but an empty world. I've even replaced the original 2 4gb memory sticks with another set that was "specifically for my mptherboard" (which was what it said on the ebay ad) and still the same problem. Here are my specs from dxdiag:

 Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 32-bit (10.0, Build 10586) (10586.th2_release.160104-1513)
                     BIOS: BIOS Date: 04/14/11 15:30:52 Ver: 08.00.15
                Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 955 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
                   Memory: 8192MB RAM
      Available OS Memory: 3328MB RAM
Page File: 1623MB used, 2791MB available
          DirectX Version: 11.2
      DX Setup Parameters: Not found
System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent)
           DxDiag Version: 10.00.10586.0000 32bit Unicode

and here are the things you might actually care about:

Motherboard Name: Asus M4N75TD

CPU: QuadCore AMD Phenom II X4 Black Edition 955

Video Adapter: AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series  (1 GB)

Help me out lads, I'm counting on you. any additional info you need just ask.

You are running Windows 10 32-bit, which limits you to 4GB of RAM. Switch to 64-bit Windows and you should be golden.

It is 100% one of the problems. 32-bit is limited to 4gb. I'd try and return that memory man. :P

do you know how I can upgrade from 32 to 64? I cant find a link

when you buy a windows disc/usb, it should come with a 64 bit install as well. Or you can use the Windows 10 media creation tool here, to create some install media
