Wow that's a great overclock. I am only able to get my 970 to 1463mhz for the core before it gets unstable.

Who's the vendor? e.g MSI, EVGA, stock etc.

Either way thats very good. Make sure to stress test it with MSI Kombustor or something similar to make sure it runs stable for a few hours, because while it may run well for 10 or 15 minutes, running at full load while overclocked will make it unstable to a certain extent, so you want to make sure your games wont crash half way through a session

I'm not very into NVida GPU's but the base core clock in reference design is 1050 right? Than 1516 whould be very nice!

But from your screenshot I can see that you run with max. Voltage increase and Power Limit do you have to set these at that point to reach that high ? Or did you tried it only at max. settings on afterburner?

PS: For how long you benchmarked your GPU and only via Firestrike? You should try more than one benchmarktool! And just for reference when I OC I benchmark at least for 6h for resonable max. Temps

well after running fire strike without any artifacts, i ran unigine heaven while using my computer like usual (youtube+facebook)
so far its still running (about an hour+)

It's pretty good. My 970 runs at 1569/7612 MHz and i get 13.6k graphics score. What memory does your card have? Unless it's Hynix you should be able to achieve much more than 7580 MHz.

i7 9700K @ 5 GHz, ASUS DUAL RTX 3070 (OC), Gigabyte Z390 Gaming SLI, 2x8 HyperX Predator 3200 MHz

mine had artifact too,
but i made my mem clock 5x my core clock (incase u didnt notice) and everything worked
i tried +200 on the mem clock and it had major artifacts, but weirdly stable at +284 (exactly 5x my core clock)

not sure if having a whole number ratio between the two had anything to do with stability but yea

its a rough overclock (notice the +200), and i maxed the voltage and power limit to see how far i can push it, but the temperature seemed fine so i didnt bother turning it down

by now its been running unigine heaven while im browing the web + youtube for about 1hour and 30 mins now without crashes or artifacts (when im staring at it atleast)
