And yes, I think it should be rated as x8 as its missing pins.

I remember watching a video on the very linustech channel, may be even a few on the subject of running 2 cards at x8 and the conclusion was that this is a problem only if the cards are something like gtx 980 + and equivalent amd variants. :)
