Need A Printer

My mom needs a new printer.

Her requests were a sleek color printer that can preferably scan but if the scanning portion makes it too big then don't worry about that. $200 max for the price. Have any suggestions?

Stay FAAAR away from HP printers IMO. Software is horrible and their ink practices are bad too. I prefer Brother printers because of their set of tools that allow easier installation of just the required drivers, no bloatware.

As for which, what is your price point? Maybe something like this?

Agreed with Brother printers.

With their inkjet, you can find cheap inks on amazon or ebay.  I got a 24 cartridges for $18 on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/271963235380

Wireless printer is very helpful if you need to printer on mobile, so pick one you can afford.

Brother is best for standard paper printing.  But if your mom look for photo printing regularly, look at Epson printers
