Recommend a wireless headphone/headset

In the market for a set of wireless headphones/headset and hoping to get some opinions from y'all. Right now I am looking at the Sennheiser RS 175, Logitech g933, and Corsair's Void rgb. Anyone have any experience with these or have another pair I should also take a look at? These will be used for music/movies/gaming and with a projector.

Unless you really want a headset, why not go for the Sennheiser? From my experience with Sennheiser (wireless) they will get you the best sound quality of those 3. And with good maintenance they'll last a while.

My experience with Logitech is less good. Audio quality was sub par (and that was wired) and build quality was the same.

Can't speak about Corsair, no experience.

So if you don't need the mic, go for the Sennheisers.

Hi,

I'm personaly using Logitech G930 (older model I asume) and so far I'm happy with it :)  I have it few years so far and only thing that come off is thin leather from round pads around. I have some issues with internal batery but I think it's because frequent usage (28K battles in World of Tanks and TS3 :) ).

My headset have quiet good range. I was able to have connection at range about 5-6 meters trough 1-2 closed wooden doors. Not very good signal trough 10cm YTONG wall tough :P.

I don't have any experience with products of other manufacturers so if anyone else can give you any feedback about them you will be wiser what to pick.

I hope this will help you to decide and if you have some more questions feel free to leave me a message :)

I was leaning towards the Sennheisers as well, have always heard good things about them. I have not tried any equivalent logitech headphones (only the ~$5 call center variety) and i'll be replacing/upgrading from a corsair vengeance wired headset that I enjoyed using. Just wanted to see if the extra cost for the rs 175 was worth it.

Since you are spending this much, an option available now is the V-Moda Crossfade Wireless, which incorporates the awesomeness of the V-Moda M-100 in a wireless package without sacrificing on the sound quality. The great thing about these, is that you can hook up the V-Moda Boompro mic any time for a wired experience with a microphone that's actually decent, or detach the mic to sit back and relax and just listen to some music of watch a movie. As with the M-100 though, I highly recommend picking up the V-Moda XL pads to go with it for comfort.

If you want to go the Bluetooth route, the Sony MDR-XB950BT is an excellent choice. Battery life is great, roughly 20 hours on a full charge. They sound great, and have a button to turn them into bass cannons if you so desire. I keep the super bass mode off personally, but it's there. They feel nice on the head too. The negative side is price. Mine were $200 when I bought them, putting them out of most's price range.

I couple them with a $20 Best Buy deskop mic and it's a pretty nice combo.
