The Internet?

Go to solution Solved by Guest,

I'd say the value of the infastructure has to be at least several Billion dollars.

I have a question that I have been thinking about for a while and you guys are the people to ask!

how much is the internet worth? I know how much the internet weights but I'm not sure about the cost?

The internet is priceless, you might be able to put a value on the infrastructure, but not the content it holds and the purpose it serves.

No one owns the internet, because the internet isn't a single entity. It's simply a collection of severs owned by a lot of companies.

Hey guys, Michael from Vsauce here

So we know how much the internet weighs...........But how much is it actually worth?

Sorry always wanted to do that, you could probably put a value on all the equipment needed to run the internet, but it would be hard to determine and it changes by the second. The content itelf is priceless...

If you're wondering what kind of figure you would get if you added up all the values from those value estimation sites, then I'm interested too, anyone know? Tried Googling but couldn't find an answer :(
