Is the msi 970A-G43 compatible with the AMD FX 8320

Yes it is but you will have hard time OC'ing 8320 on it before your board dies eventually, get atleast Asus's evo board as it's more solid and stable without having Hot VRM problems.

If MSI is board that you want then look at G46 which have better VRM cooling.

Seriously save money for better board to have fun with 8320.

yeah the cpu has the same socket as the motherboard so yeah it is safe!!
