My uncle is after a new desktop, it will be used for Internet, Microsoft office applications and other similar activities. He also takes and stores lots of photos. 

As I only really know the best stuff for gaming PCs, what kind of equipment would be good for this type if computer. 

I can't really give a budget but as low as possible would be great.

Was the cheapest non fire starter I could find. Also, I can run chrome easily on 2GB RAM on my laptop :P

Chrome isn't a ****, but I'd still go with 8 GB of RAM :P
