Controllers!

Go to solution Solved by stealth80,

Nevermind, it seems to be the plug and play cable, works first time with the PS4 usb

Ok I had an older Xbox 360 wireless controller that worked perfectly, until was made to stop working mid game by my Beagle when he was a puppy! Since then I've been using a PS4 pad via the DS4 app, which has just become too much of a pain in arse with its hit and miss Bluetooth connections. I just bought a Xbox One pad + plug and play pack and ordered the wireless dongle.

However, Windows (10 64 bit) will not recognise it at all! its not in device manager, the store app doesn't recognise it. It vibrates when I plug it in and the light flashes for around 10 secs when I hit it, but apart from that it won't work.

Anyone have any suggestions?

If you bought the wireless adapter for Win10, hit the button on the side when its plugged into USB and the light will flash while waiting to sync with a wireless xbone controller. Turn the wireless xbone controller on and hit the sync button, when successful the light on the usb stick should be solid white instead of blinking, and you should know see the controller show up in Windows.
