Cheap car speakers

My car is a piece of shit, and it isn't worth putting money into. 
But it runs

Anyway the 2 speakers in the back are dead, one's been dead for a while, and the other finally is giving out, and the front alone are pretty crappy

Are speaker pairs in the 20-40$ range like this

Even worth putting in? 

I MUST have music for my commute, so in the very least I'm getting junkyard replacements. 

 

Don't intend to replace the receiver. BUT if I do get more expensive speakers and a receiver, I suppose I could transfer them to whatever I drive next. So feel free to make suggestions, I need one pair of 6.5" and one pair 6x9"

But I mean if speakers in that price range sound at least decent, I'm all for spending as little as possible

Just go to walmart and get replacement speakers that fit your car.
