hello,  i have a OCZ Vertex 60Gb as boot drive and app.  Docs, music, etc  on an hdd.

and  i ran  SSD life on win 7 a few months ago and it says that my sdd was really damaged. So i decided to  keep using it until it brakes  then buy another one, Today it still working on Win 8 and ssdlife says  its completly healthy. Run HD Tune and says health status is Ok, but on "Interface CRC Erro Count" says attention and shows a really high number 285095, then keep running hd tune and install office and the number grow again. so i dont understand whats goiing on. Its damaged or not?.

To be honest i have no idea, do you notice any problems with the SSD?

Usually programs like that doesn't give you "legit" information all the time and i think HDTune is for HDD's mainly^^

Unlike HDD's which tend to degrade and show signs before they die.

An SSD will die without warning. Programs which show various errors and stats usually don't provide any tangible evidence to say whether a drive will or will not fail. It's similar to opening up windows event viewer and looking at all the warning there.

All I can suggest is make sure you are backing it up somewhere so if it does die you're out only a piece of hardware and not your data.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Users cannot, and will not securely manage key material. Most users can't and the ones that can, wont.

Ask me about Bitcoin, Litecoin, Crypto-Currencies, and/or Mining them.
