500 dollar killer

Spawnofleo

This would beat all the other systems here. Only 3 little things I personally don't like about it. CX power-supply, No SSD, and Micro ATX (abit bulky for a entertainment system)

But otherwise, this is a VERY solid system and will out pace anything else here.

Are you serious? You obviously haven't watched Linus' video on the G3258 vs the 5960x. A decently OC'd G3258 can hold it's own against more expensive chips. Quad cores for games are becoming a thing, yes, but it's not like every single game out there (or even a significant percentage of them) require a quad core. Only newer AAA titles and quite frankly if you're building a budget system you shouldn't expect AAA titles to run like a dream. It would absolutely not bottleneck something like a 950 in any game that doesn't require a quad core.

Besides that, sticking to actually being below $500

Yes, I have watched them. For Light-gaming it is worth it but for heavy cpu games. You better have a Quad-Core than a Bottleneck

This honestly. Also it's all from Newegg.

The run down is an Athlon X4 860K, 8GB of RAM, R9 380 4GB, 2TB SSHD and 430W PSU. All that should be enough for someone buying a $500 PC. Alternatives would be stepping down to 1TB of SSHD storage for a 500W Bronze PSU and slightly better motherboard. I also saw a $180 GTX 960 2GB.
