Screenshot Not Working on Android

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get my screenshotting to work on my Note 5. I use the home and power buttons to take a screenshot (I don't like palm swipe to capture) and the home and power buttons have worked before for screenshotting and they all suddenly stopped working, it is not the case, the home and power buttons work fine with the case.

Did you hold down power+home while screenshotting?

Haven't used a Samsung phone since my first smartphone back in 2012
