Kraken x61 bad performance?

I am using the stock thermal paste, and i have no OC on my 4790k. I am using 2 Noctua Af14 FLX. The fans only go up to 1200 rpm. I was wondering if i should use different fans and replace thermal compund? I am getting 75C with OCCT and 55-66C using aida 64. I might have to RMA?

Those are perfectly fine temps, especially the Aida64 ones.

But they seem high...

But they seem high...

Just saying, watercooling is kindof centered around aesthetics, the performance is better than some air coolers though. Also, more effective at getting the heat away from the CPU than an air cooler.

But I might return it. I might go with a hyper 212 evo

Which will be quite a bit worse. 240mm AiOs and large dual towers (*cough* NH-D15 *cough*) are the best cooling at the moment other than custom loop.

Man stop spaming ... you already got your answer several times. It is fine!

OCCT with AVX capable linpack and Prime95 put such stress on your CPU causing it to overvolt that the temps will skyrocket no matter the cooling. Dips in temperatures are normal when the CPU is switching to another task during stress test.

Use Aida 64 ... 60*C is totaly fine. You may have unlucky chip resulting in slightly higher temps than average but there is nothing you can do about that as long as you dont want to delide. IT IS FINE.

I have it for my 6600k 3.5 with stock fans and stock thermal paste. In Gta 5 it never goes higher than 38C at 840 rpm. Most of the time like 34C

Second PC: EVGA Reference GTX 680, i7 2700k, 16GB DDR3, Corsair 300R, Corsair CX500W, Windows 10

Laptop: Acer Aspire 5750G, GT540M, i7 2630QM, 6GB DDR3, Windows 7

There's nothing wrong with those temperatures. CPUs dont throttle til you get near 95 C and if you wont get close to that in a stress test then you definitely wont in the real world.

you temperatures are fine.. the last threads you had made all said you are fine.

the replacement you will receive for the RMA will prolly have the same results.

you gotta let go and enjoy the system and move on..
