Your post isn't helping at all.

Budget? You can't just say cheap and be done with it.

APUs already have an iGPU, which will run the games listed above pretty decently.

I'd recommend used parts.

Here's the cheapest I can come up with for a 1080p gaming machine without compromising on too much (cardboard box, sketchy hard drive etc).

I strongly recommend getting a discrete GPU rather than an APU- come on, it's thirty bucks more than your average 7850k build.

Rather than going with the arguably superior quad-core AMD Athlon x4 860k, I incorporated a Pentium G3258 as it has a far better upgrade path, and there was a killer combo deal with the Gigabyte B85M DS3H.

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B85M-DS3H-A Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($41.98 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Zotac GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Video Card  ($104.99 @ Amazon)
Case: Xion XON-310_BK MicroATX Mid Tower Case  ($22.98 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: EVGA 430W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply  ($24.99 @ NCIX US)
Total: $325.79

Although it won't run anything else decently. It's a tight budget.

True, but APUs are great for the select games he's playing.

At low to medium settings at 900/720p, I reckon.

Well, if you want a box to play League of Legends on, you'd be better off with an APU anyway. However, the moment you change your mind and decide to step up to more demanding titles, it'll all fall apart. The only dual-core chips that are capable of running modern triple-A titles are the Pentium G3258 (just barely, too), and i3s, which are hyperthreaded dual-core chips.

The 750ti, however, is more than capable of playing games at 1080p with acceptable settings at 60FPS and will damn near max them out at 1440x900.
