ITX Power supply / Flex ATX

Codyman125

I'm in need of a really small power supply that can handle an i7 6700k and a gtx 970 for a project. Looks like the system's total power on PCPP is around 300w, but PCPP doesn't have the greatest list of ITX power supplies... Can't be much bigger than 3.2"x1.7"x6". Help?

Make sure the 970 has two 6-pin power connectors at most.

That power supply has multiple reviews saying it caught on fire... I really like my computers :'(

For FLX PSU's under the 500W range isn't too hard FSP makes some pretty good ones:

If you want to push it to the max FSP makes a platinum series 500W in a FLX format but is very hard to come by:

I ran my R9 290 on a 400W piece of crap that wasn't even 80+ Certified. I'm sure you'll be fine.

I'll look for something else, although I can tell you there isn't much.

The first one had my eye before, but it has no 8-pin PCIe... Might be stuck adapting from molex then...

second one looks great, but I can only imagine the cost if I do find it...

Thanks man, this is an ultra small PC, I kinda need to be pretty quiet and trustworthy. doesn't need to be silent by any stretch though.

Hmm... we might have a winner there. Still concerned over quality, but I don't think I can argue with that one while I'm in my situation.

It's 80+ Silver, I'm sure they put effort into this PSU.
