Help?

Hi, I am currently using a HP XW6600 workstation, with windows server 2008 r2 on it and my ram is not giving me a very nice temperature. Any advice is appreciated. (temp in pic)

* 2x4GB RAM modules

* 2x Xeon CPUs

* fan cooling DIRECTLY over RAM

* no OS's installed other than 2008 r2

* old af BIOS with no upgrade-ability

 

Oh and the workstation is for use of a Dedicated Arma 3 servers.

clear the case of dust? replace the fan maybe. its really warm but doesn't look dangerously hot though.

 

Edit: what happen when you take the side panel off the case?

You understand that is Celcius. 158 in Fahrenheit, its dust free too.

There are two fans over the ram, and i have to remove the fans to get to the RAM.

But i highly doubt that there are two *working* fans and it's still that high. Or the readings are off. Just try to touch it and see how hot it gets

Its hot... My finger hertz.

This is the layout. RAM is to the right of the CPUs. And the fan over the RAM sucks air away from them.
