SSD + HDD. A hybrid drive just has a small cache so frequently used files can be accessed quicker. Having a dedicated SSD allows you to install your OS and programs on it, as well as being faster than most hybrid cache.

Crucial MX/BX100, Samsung 850 EVO and SanDisk Plus are all good SSDs.

Seagate Barracuda and WD Blue are good HDDs.

It depends on your use... Typically, at this day and age. The best setup is a 120GB SSD for your OS and a 1TB HDD for your videos, pictures, music, games. Ect. If you are wanting a silent build, all SSD's would be best. If you only want one drive, or can only use one drive, and don't care for silence, and would like to save money SSHD would be the way to go.

SSD + HDD. Performance benefits are noticeably better than a SSHD. SSD + HDD allows for more control and better performance.

Hello,

i dont know if i should buy myself an 250GB SSD and a 1T HDD or just buy

myself an hybrid storage (SSHDD).

Please tell me which you think is best and also tell me which SSD/HDD/SSHDD

i should buy if i should buy one or two.

thanks

Get an SSD and an HDD. You will have better performance and more space.

An ssd+hdd is definitely the better option, but a fair bit more expensive. Most sshds only come with 8GB of flash memory and as such cache very little; usually just enough to cover necessary windows system files and a few small programs. With a 240gb ssd the entire OS can be in flash along with many programs, even some games.

You should decide for yourself if the extra high speed space is necessary for you or whether you'd like the cheaper option. Personally I recommend ssd+hdd.
