Hello

I am trying to build a torrent box. The box should download torrents via openvpn and save it on a encrypted HDD. But i don’t know which box would be the best choice.

Does anyone have some experience with a raspberry pi 2 or a banana pi as torrent box? I think the whole encryption stuff is going to reduce the download speed.

All of your BitTorrent traffic will be entirely legal and scrupulous, I take it.

interesting project though. Maybe you can team up with linus for this project

Thanks. This project has some pretty interesting aspects. Like adding downloads over the webinterface or connect via ssh and look at the juicy numbers.

There are existing guides online for that, but no one thinks about encryption.
