not sure what topic it should be under so I'm winging it.

I have an ITX Corsair air 240 and there is very little or no room left for the number of radiators that i want to put in there.

So do i get the Air 540 which supports my ITX motherboard, the 360mm radiator, res i already have or for ~60-120$ (I'm also throwing a drain valve in it)

or get all completely new water-cooling parts ~300$ for new pump/micro res/tubing/240rad/120SlimRad

Current: R2600X@4.0GHz\\ Corsair Air 280x \\ RTX 2070 \\ 16GB DDR3 2666 \\ 1KW EVGA Supernova\\ Asus B450 TUF

Old Systems: A6 5200 APU -- A10 7800K + HD6670 -- FX 9370 + 2X R9 290 -- G3258 + R9 280 -- 4690K + RX480

its up to you.

personally i would choose the new loop option since the air 240 is a nice case and has room for a 240mm rad which i find plenty and that R9 290 will love all them juice.

EDIT lol you already have a 360mm rad (how?) get which one is cheapest though would be pretty close so i think the 360 is my recommendation.

You would think Ubisoft would support the Bulldozer based architectures more given their digging themed names like bulldozer, Piledriver, Steamroller and Excavator.

Are you sure you want to have your itx board in an even bigger case?

What do you actually need the radiators for and how many radiators?

Home is where the heart my desktop is.

I have a 360 mm radiator from another computer i had built a couple years ago

I would like to have at least 120mm of cooling for cpu, 120mm for gpu, and another 120 for overclocking headroom/maybe another gpu sometime

I dont think i would mind the bigger case look because i think i can mount the 360 in the front and the res behind it since its a tube res with a d5 pump on it. i might need some angle fittings to make that one work though.

my other option is mount is horizontally in the extra space under the motherboard and fill.leak test with the system on its face. the pump should be ok as long as it doesn't go dry

Why not the Thermaltake Core X1 (I think that's what it's called)?

that would be awesome if it wasn't a horizontal layout (don't like how they look and are weird to work on)

know of any vertical layout cases? is there another version of that?

I'm almost positive that you can change the orientation

so did you mean this or this

the names are kind of similar

I'd go for a new case first. Fresh clean start, fresh clean loop next. Maybe you could get a nano S or NZXT Manta? Does one of those support a 360?

nope, no 360
